Faizel Biscombe

Faizel Biscombe is the second-generation owner of Arts Barber Shop in Cape Town, South Africa, a community institution first opened by his father in 1963. He joined the family business in 1988, carrying forward a proud tradition that now spans over 60 years.

With decades of experience, Faizel has become one of the most established barbers in the region, known for his dedication to both classic techniques and modern styles. Today, his son Shuiab represents the third generation, bringing fresh energy and trends that have attracted a younger clientele while staying true to the shop’s old-school roots.

Together, the Biscombe family continues to grow one of Cape Town’s oldest and most respected barbering legacies.
