Chris Bourgon (born in Summerstown, Ontario) is the owner of Gilles’ 3rd Gen Barbershop, a family business he took over from his father in 1997. With more than 81,000 hours behind the chair, Chris has built a career defined by dedication, resilience, and a passion for serving his community.

His journey has included navigating challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and supporting his family through personal hardship, all while keeping his business thriving. In addition to barbering, Chris has developed his own line of custom barber attire and merchandise, which is now sold worldwide.

He was named South Glengarry’s Citizen of the Year in 2023, a reflection of his character, commitment, and leadership both inside and outside the barbershop.
