Jay Millar is the owner of Jay’s Barber Club in North Belfast, a barbershop known for quality cuts, strong community spirit, and shaping the next generation of barbers in the region.

He began his career in 2011 with Jay’s Male Grooming, later expanding into his current premises in 2020. A trailblazer in Northern Ireland’s barbering scene, Jay was among the first in Belfast to introduce modern cutting styles, setting new standards as the industry evolved over time. Every barber in his shop has been trained directly by him, reflecting his passion for education, which extends through his Barber Academy, where he has taught hundreds of students across multiple cohorts.

Beyond barbering, Jay is recognised for charitable work, offering free haircuts to Belfast’s homeless community and sharing his story to inspire change.
